Hi Folks,
Finally got my hands on a 2008 zx-14 today, been reading and following some of the threads on here for a little while. I had zzr1200 for many years and thought it was a great bike but always felt like there was something missing. Maybe the 14 will scratch that itch.
I'm a pilot for hospital down here in sunny florida so it's always riding weather (except the summertime), I know your forum will be a wealth of information for a newcomer like me. Hope to ride and meet with some of you sometime in the near future.

Welcome! The ZZR1200 is a great bike but the ZX-14 is in a class by itself. Just be careful with the throttle until you understand what this bike is capable of and it will never fail to put a smile on your face and get your heart rate up.

I'm on the east coast near cocoa beach and yes, i'm a zzrbikes guy. Great bunch of folks over there.

Ah! Finally got off the night shift and had a chance to take the zx14 for a spin........UNBELIEVABLE!

Feels 200 pounds lighter than the ZZR, doesn't it. Yeah, the ZX14's have the jets! Handle great and the best brakes in the business.

Don't quit posting at ZZRbikes though. There are more guys on ZX14's than ZZRs nowadays.
